St. Francis Preschool
St. Francis Preschool is an outreach ministry of our Church that provides a nurturing environment for Pre-Schoolers and Kindergartners. The school's purpose is to provide an educational environment that encourages children to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and spiritually into responsible, caring adults. To learn more please visit the St. Francis Pre-School website.
Prior to the start of the school year, parishioners are encouraged to provide backpacks with school supplies for low income families.
Shoe Box Ministry
Shoe boxes filled with personal hygiene items, provided by parishioners, are collected and delivered to residents at the Women's Shelter.
Churches Touching Lives for Christ
Each month parishioners donate requested items and their time to help assemble care kits for CTLC. Requested items vary based on most pressing needs.
Weekend Nutritional Backpack Program
Throughout the school year, this ministry provides nutritious food that hungry children in our community can take home over the weekend. A child who qualifies for this program receives a backpack filled with food on Friday and returns the backpack on Monday so that it can be reused for the next week’s food. This is a great ministry to get involved with and to give your time to!
Feed My Sheep
CTLC is partnering with 27 churches to help feed the homeless in Temple. Feed my Sheep on Avenue G provides a hot meal and a bag dinner for about 150 people daily. St. Francis participated monthly by providing a bag dinner. Additionally there are opportunities to provide a hot meal as well as a need for volunteers to do general repairs on the building.
